The Leicester Aikido Club is affiliated to the British Aikido Federation.
What is Aikido?
Aikido is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba. The philosophy of Aikido is to blend and harmonize with your attacker rather than to oppose them. This requires very little physical energy so the Aikidoka (Aikido practitioner) relies on development of their skills rather than being the strongest or fastest.
